This should be a very nice cross.  Both have beautiful bodies and heads but Stoney has a little more neck and a prettier profile.  This should result in blue merle, tricolor, bi-blue and bi-black puppies since both are bi-factored.

UPDATE:
On Sunday morning, October 10, Diamond presented us with her largest litter ever!  She had 6 GORGEOUS puppies for us!  Here is what she has:

1 Bi-Blue boy

1 Bi-Black boy (Dilute/Maltese Blue?)

1 Blue Merle Girl

1 Bi-Black Girl

2 Tricolor Girls

The Bi-Black boy appears to be actually a uniform dark gray known as Maltese Blue or Dilute, his nose color came in gray so we know that he isn't just a self-colored blue merle.  Maltese blue/Dilute is a very rare color in shelties and is not accepted in the show ring so he is available to a pet home.

This litter is an incredibly beautiful and even litter and we are having a very hard time deciding on who to keep. Melody, Cookie and Mindy are all absolutely gorgeous girls that if we don't grow them out ourselves, we want to see them go to a show home.  Mork is looking like he is really going to be the "pick" of the litter, he is stunning!  We are going to grow Mork out either indefinitely, or until a suitable show home comes along for him.
