Born August 17, 2001, Cammi is a very sweet and solid girl, and a spitting image of her mother, softened by her father. She really brings out the best of both of her parents, the playful attitude, the solid body, tight ear set and sweet face all come together for a wonderful girl!
We have kept a couple of her daughters and have decided to retire Cammi. She is not one who enjoys showing so she was never finished but she has had some beautiful puppies and has been one of our best mothers. She has earned the right to live as someone's spoiled house pet. However, to the right person, we may consider letting her go for brood.
The picture above truly shows her as the epitome of what I envision a sheltie to be. Moderate, alert, and with that "natural" look that is so seldom seen in the show ring. Unfortunately most shelties are so "made up" for the ring that we forget what a sheltie is really supposed to look like. A little bit of trimming, brushing and a bath is all they really should need. This is why UKC is so appealing to many.
